Please read these disclaimers carefully before using Taxlytic. By using our platform, you acknowledge and agree to the following.
Taxlytic is a software platform that facilitates tax information intake. We are not a tax preparation service, tax advisor, or accounting firm. We do not prepare, file, or review tax returns. We do not provide tax, legal, or financial advice of any kind.
Taxlytic serves as a tool for licensed tax preparers to streamline their client intake process. It does not replace the professional judgment of a tax preparer. Use of this platform does not establish a preparer-client relationship between Taxlytic and any end user or taxpayer.
This platform uses AI to process and organize tax-related information. AI-generated extractions and summaries may contain errors. All data should be independently verified by a qualified tax professional before use in tax return preparation.
AI is used for chat-based intake, document extraction (W-2s, 1099s, 1098s), and voice calls. Voice processing uses speech-to-text and text-to-speech AI services. Tax preparers are solely responsible for verifying all extracted data and ensuring accuracy before filing any tax return.
Nothing on this platform constitutes tax, legal, or financial advice. For tax advice, consult your tax preparer or a qualified tax professional.
The chat interface collects information only. It does not advise. Informational text provided in the platform is for context only and should not be relied upon as professional guidance.
The AI Receptionist is an automated system. Voice is processed by speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and AI language model providers. AI may misinterpret spoken data, accents, or background noise. Callers should verify all captured information with their preparer. Callers may request a human callback at any time.
The platform depends on third-party providers for telephony, AI processing, speech processing, database hosting, application hosting, and payment processing. Taxlytic is not responsible for third-party outages, security incidents, or policy changes. Each provider is governed by their own terms of service.
This platform does not relieve preparers of any professional obligation. Preparers must exercise independent due diligence. The platform does not guarantee compliance with IRC 7216, Circular 230, or any other regulation. Preparers are responsible for their own regulatory compliance.
Use of this platform does not constitute a formal engagement letter or preparer-client agreement. Preparers must execute appropriate engagement letters with clients independently.
While we use industry-standard security measures and SOC 2 certified infrastructure providers, no system can guarantee absolute security. Users should exercise appropriate caution when transmitting sensitive information online.
We use TLS 1.2+, AES-256 encryption at rest, row-level security (RLS), rate limiting, and all SOC 2 certified providers. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currentness of any information on the platform, including tax-related informational content. AI outputs are not guaranteed to be error-free. Tax law changes frequently; consult a qualified professional for current guidance.
We are committed to making our platform accessible to all users. If you experience accessibility issues, contact support@taxlytic.ai. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards and continuously work to improve accessibility.
